Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish, born 7 August 1982, in Australia and is an actor. Cornish is most well-known for her roles in films like Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) as well as Sarah and Geostorm (2017). For the latter Cornish won her debut Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the cast. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin was the star of Adventureland (2009) as well as Ann McDonough appeared in The Mothman Prophecies 2002, as well as in other films. The love and support from her parents made the decision to pursue acting an easy choice for the young Betty Gilpin. Fordham College is where Betty Gilpin learned her craft. Gilpin was auditioned for and started performing Off-Broadway in plays after graduating. Gilpin was able to land a guest appearance in NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2011) and followed it up with smaller roles on Ghost Town (2008) and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin was able to land a few TV guest appearances in the years following until she got her debut break in 2013 by landing a recurring role on Nurse Jackie. Gilpin was the lead character on Nurse Jackie as the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin on 34 episodes before Nurse Jackie was pulled in June. Gilpin was also a part of the crime thriller True Story (2015).
