Her appearances include Judy Kramer as a Fox 2005 show Point Pleasant, and Marcy as a character in Dawson's Creek. On the Guiding Light soap production, she was Marina Cooper. This role brought her an award nomination by Soap Opera Digest in 2003 for Outstanding newcomer. Dollar played Cindy Thomas, the ABC TV series Women's Murder Club's star from 2007 to 2008. Dollar played the role of Happy Valley, a pilot for NBC in 2012. The show never taken on.
