Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded, mostly in the martial arts or horror genres. Her style of review and methodology are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action movies that have a twisted fascination. She began her reviews in late 2009; following her rise to fame (under her old name, Obscurus-Lupa) Allison Pregler was part of the family at Channel Awesome. Her site remained up through the beginning of the year 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents retooled into Movie Nights. The podcasts she hosts focus on the Charmed franchise. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
